TAHIR ALSREE
CEO
Tahir has more than 30 years experience in Human Resource management and consulting in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Prior to setting up OSR, he served leading international consulting firms including Hewitt Associates and The Wright Company in the areas of Executive Compensation & Benefits and Executive
Search. He also served in various Human Resource functions for 5 years with Singapore Airlines.
Tahir graduated with Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration degrees from the State University of New York at
Buffalo.
DOUGLAS DEAN
Head of Consulting
He is a business development, strategy and organizational development expert. He has over 25 years experience in industry and consulting including Chief Marketing Officer for Volkswagen commercial vehicles, Vice President of the prestigious Lausanne Hotel School and Advisor to Nestle-Nespresso’s CEO.
Since coming to Asia 10 years ago, he has advised a number of start-ups, PLCs and Government Linked Companies on strategic transformation aimed at turning organizations around.
Douglas is currently the Head of Consulting with OSR. In this capacity, he is coaching leaders and is assisting organizations to undergo cultural alignments and implement change management in order to improve competitiveness within increasingly complex markets. He has extensive experience in developing and implementing competency frameworks including job descriptions and roles and responsibilities, designing and executing Performance Management Systems including KPIS and Leadership Competencies.
Douglas holds a Masters of Science in Materials Engineering from Lehigh University in USA and an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
SYED ALI SYED AHMAD
Principal Consultant
Syed Ali had been in active employment for 38 years in both local and multinational corporations, until his retirement at the end of 2013. He had served the newspaper, airline, oil and gas, shipbuilding and fabrication, automotive, plantation industries and corporate head office of a state GLC. All these years were in the areas of Human Resource Management, Safety and Public Affairs. His last position was as the Group Human Capital Advisor of a major state GLC, having interest in plantation, healthcare, fast food and intrapreneurships.
Besides consulting, training and facilitation in corporations he had served, Syed Ali had often been invited to speak in local and international conferences and seminars in the areas of Human Resource Management, especially covering subjects of People Management, Industrial Relations, Change Management and Leadership.
He has had numerous training and facilitation experience in the plantation, healthcare, and foreign financial industries. He has had the opportunity to facilitate participants from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Indonesia in areas of People Management and Change Management.
Syed Ali had served the Malaysian Industrial Court as a member of the Employers Panel since 1996 and member of the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) Industrial Relations Panel since 1994. These had given him vast and valuable exposure in the field of Industrial Relations.
He is a graduate in Economics and also holds a Diploma in Business Studies. He is an Alumni of the Harvard Business School Club (Malaysian Chapter), and is a HRDF Certified Trainer.
TENGKU SRI INDRA
Principal Consultant
As a Certified Behavioural Consultant and Coach, Tengku Indra has trained, coached and mentored thousands of managers and professionals in the Asia Pacific Region over the last 35 years of his career in Fortune-listed corporations. Prior to embarking on his consulting career in 1996, Tengku had worked for 20 years in three large Fortune-listed corporations which include Singapore Airlines, General Electric and Monsanto Chemicals USA.
While with Monsanto Asia Pacific, Tengku worked initially as its Regional Human Resources Manager, Asia Pacific, before he switched over to the Industrial Business Units as the Country Director of Monsanto Chemicals, Indonesia. Based in Jakarta as an expat manager, he managed the sales of several intermediate chemicals products which include Rubber Chemicals, Plastics and Specialty Chemicals.
Apart from managing key accounts such as Goodyear, Exxon, Unilever and Gadjah Tunggal Group to name a few, Tengku was also responsible for the management and development of Monsanto’s key distributors and dealers in Indonesia.
Tengku’s last position in Monsanto Asia Pacific based in Singapore, was being the Regional Sales Director – Southern Asia for Resins Chemicals in which he marketed Poly Vinyl Butrayal (PVB) Chemicals to glass manufacturers for the production of laminated safety glass.
His experience in this business gave him a lot of experience in handling projects on Developing core values, vision and mission development of multi national companies which include Pfizer Indonesia, Lafarge Indonesia and Dupont Indonesia.
KEES VAN DOESBURG
Principal Consultant
Kees has more than 25 years of management and consulting experience. He was the Global Director of Compensation and Benefits for an EMS Company with 25,000 employees worldwide. He was also the Director C&B for DHL, Asia Pacific. His responsibilities included managing C&B activities throughout the 40 Asia Pacific countries and implementing numerous projects. A major focus for Kees was the design/implementation of Management, Sales and Non-Executive staff incentive plans.
Prior to DHL, Kees spent 8 years as a Senior Principal Consultant with Hay Management Consultants in the Singapore and Kuala Lumpur Offices. During his tenure, he completed numerous consulting assignments throughout the Asia region.
Kees was a Job Evaluation Consultant with the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) where he was responsible for implementing a non-executive job evaluation plan in SNEF members. SNEF consisted of 1,000 member companies at that point with approximately 215,000 employees.
Kees holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Masters degree in Administration from the University of Victoria.
ROSLIN SULAIMAN

Roslin’s career in the field of human resource management spans over 20 years covering the full spectrum of Human Resource activities. Her experience covers multiple industries, including financial, big conglomerate companies, property development, oil & gas and government-linked companies.
Roslin holds a B.Sc Finance from Syracuse University of New York.

Tim is a consultant at Meta and the Chief Digital Officer at mum+, a social enterprise whose purpose is to help create a healthier New Zealand.
Formerly trained as a sociologist, Tim currently helps businesses across the APAC region with transformative digital projects. He is a pioneer in the digital business with 25 years of experience across four continents, working with enterprises, including P&G, 3M, Nike, Samsung, LG and GE, and with partners such as Google, Facebook, and Salesforce. Tim has domain expertise in Platform Business Models, Digital Transformation, Customer Centricity and Start-ups.
Tim’s current focus is gamification and Artificial Intelligence. He has spoken at events across APAC including ad:tech Shanghai, Online Retailer Sydney, Asia Inc’s Leading Business in Asia Forum Brunei, and guest lectured at the Fudan University Marketing Series Shanghai.
Tim is an advocate of lifelong learning and is a prolific publisher with recent articles on platforms, strategy, neuromarketing, customer journey and digital transformation.
He is based in Auckland and travels frequently around Asia Pacific region on assignments.
DIDIER MARLIER

A blogger, author, Board advisor, consultant, executive coach, father, professor and… agent-provocateur, Didier’s (Belgian/Swiss) interest is in advising leaders on how to “intellectually compel” and “emotionally engage” their people into large scale change (strategic, organizational, cultural or post M&A), using the three levers of Logos (intellect), Ethos (behaviours) and Pathos (emotion). He advises his clients on organizational change (Engagement Processes), leadership development & team/individual coaching at Executive/Board levels. NANCY FORTNER

Nancy Fortner, Managing Director of Fortner Consulting, has more than twenty years of Global Organizational Development and Human Resources experience.
Nancy has consulted and trained globally on Organizational Development and Human Resources in the areas of Strategy, Performance Management, Change Management, Organizational Restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions, Succession Planning and Leadership Assessment and Development across a wide spectrum of industries. She is also an invited speaker at various global conferences and professional events.
Nancy obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Western University, Ontario, Canada and her CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader) designation in Toronto, Canada.
Nancy is a member of Human Resources Professionals Association (Canada), Society for Human Resource Management, Association for Talent Development and The Human Capital Institute’s Research Group (USA).

DENIS OAKLEY
Founder, Denis Oakley & Co
Denis Oakley is an accomplished entrepreneur, coach and business model innovator.
Prior to starting Denis Oakley & Co consultancy, he was the co-founder of successful Oakley steel trading company that specialized in heavy steel plate for use in oil & gas platforms, FPSOs and refineries. His technical background includes risk management and the development and delivery of complex projects.
Under Denis Oakley & Co, he has Analysed and improved over 300 business models and their consumers propositions for over 300 start-ups. He has also created a blog and YouTube channel on business model design that has been used by over 250,000 entrepreneurs.
Presented at conferences and workshops on lean startup, business model design & ideation, cultural change and leadership skills influencing over 2,000 people face to face. He has extended the Business Model Canvas to use it as a tool for measuring corporate performance, cultural flexibility and as a threat radar.

ZAFRUL NORDIN
Co-founder, CodeAr.my
Zafrul is the co-founder of CodeAr.my which was launched in London, UK, as an online accelerator that helps non-technical entrepreneurs build their products and launch their startups with experienced CTO's.
He successfully raised funds from Malaysian angel investors and government agencies and was then appointed as a head for Lean Startup Machine (LSM) in Malaysia. He conducted their early program in partnership with Microsoft Malaysia. Moving into 2015, Zafrul became Asia’s representative for LSM’s Global Advisory Board.
In partnership with Malaysia’s oldest investment fund, Zafrul launched Project Brainchild - Malaysia’s first ever program targeted at existing employees of government linked companies, helping the employees to launch new Startups. Later on, he established partnership with General Electric to further spread Lean Startup methodology among large corporates and their partners. Until today, Zafrul and his team have helped many large corporates and countless startup founders to apply the mechanics and thinking of Lean Startup to improve their business.
PROFESSOR DOCTOR SELVARAJ OYYAN PILLAY

Professor Selvaraj Oyyan Pillay received his PhD in Biochemical Genetics from the Department of Genetics and Cellular Biology, University of Malaya.
Professor Selvaraj’s commitment and passion for quality programs, innovative delivery mechanism leveraging on the latest technology and friendly services, has placed his institutions at the forefront of adult learning opportunity creation.
Within this field, he has served as the Deputy Director in University Malaya spearheading the Centre of Continuing Education. At the Faculty of Science, he supervised undergraduates, masters and PhD candidates and published 27 International and Local Research Papers. He then joined Open University Malaysia to spearhead the Institute of Professional Development (IPD-OUM) and the School of Lifelong Learning (SOLL), where he doubled the institutions’ annual revenue, transforming them into one of the leading education groups.
He now heads the International Malaysian Education Center (IMEC) which offers immersive programs for worldwide professionals as well as developmental opportunities for professionals. Through his extensive network, IMEC offers certificate and diploma level programs with UK based Universities. His current focus is on developing and offering on-line programs.
BRYAN LANG
Founder, The Testing Ground
Bryan has considerable experience and expertise in innovation and entrepreneurial ventures. His mission is to “Help Companies and organizations stay ahead by creating new categories of products and services that companies want.”
His portfolio of skills includes Opportunity Scanning, Business model validation, product creation, go to market strategies, building high performance teams and integration back into parent companies.
In addition to consulting and starting his own companies, Bryan has worked for Citibank as business transformation specialist for Asia Pacific. He has also worked for MINDEF in Singapore and the Singapore Air Force.
Companies he has founded and led include Big Life Treats, an on-line gifting company, The Testing Ground a lean start-up coaching agency, Stacck, an enterprise resource planning system for food and beverages franchises. Stacck was acquired by a third party in 2017.
Bryan graduated with honors from Purdue University in the USA with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds an MBA with distinction from University of Manchester in the UK, a bachelor of Law from National University in Singapore and will be graduating later this year with a graduate diploma in Social Psychology and Counseling for Aventis School of Management.

Dave has been a consultant, speaker and trainer in the personality tool business for 20 years. He has personally delivered and facilitated training sessions around the globe and advised over a hundred thousand people in the practical use of personality assessments. Working across industries in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Dave developed significant knowledge of personality assessment tools, innovation methods, and organizational development processes. He is dedicated to using the latest brain science to enhance people’s natural strengths, improve organizational effectiveness, and create high-performing teams.

NATHAN KRACKLAUER

Nathan has contributed to thought leadership and business management for the past two decades. As the first Director of Content Development, he established Enspire’s approach to instructional and simulation design. He was the principle author on courses for organizations such Harvard Business School, the World Bank, Texas National Guard, and Canon USA. As VP of Product Development he managed the design and development of Enspire’s business simulations and online curricula, including the business simulation Business Challenge and the e-learning curriculum Fluent in Finance.
He has facilitated leadership and business acumen development seminars at organizations such as GE, Nokia Siemens Networks, Bank of America, Mars, Kraft Foods, IMD Business School, UCLA Anderson, and MIT Sloan School of Management. He has led simulation design and instructional design workshops at leading industry conferences on both sides of the Atlantic including ASTD, Training, and Online Education and for corporate clients such as National Instruments.
Nathan holds a BS in Mathematics and BA degrees in Philosophy and Liberal Arts Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.

Prim was a Sr. Manager with MOTOROLA UNIVERSITY (Asia Pac.), responsible for Developing Corporate University, Leadership Development, e-Learning and a strategic Knowledge Management Partnership Project. He also spent 2 years as the VP of Learning & Knowledge Management with MAYBANK GROUP setting up their Group Centre of Excellence for Learning.
Prim has being a passionate practitioner in the field of Six Sigma, Corporate Culture, Leadership Supply, Corporate University & the Learning Organization. He has developed several Learning Principles, Models and Implementation System which are being utilized globally. He has been involved in training, workshop facilitation, coaching and consulting over the last 17 years covering ASIA, Europe and USA
He has led major learning & applied research projects across China. His primary interest is on the fusion of Eastern principles and philosophy with Western methodologies & tools. The projects cover Leadership Transformation, Strategy Management, Culture Enhancement, Six Sigma Implementation and Corporate University have been cited as an attempt to introduce scientific management to Chinese SOEs. Nick’s key specialty is improving organizational-wide effectiveness and enabling focused change based on a more empowering and unique form of leadership and talent development, strategy and change.
He has served as a cavalry officer in the British Army, Executive Consultant of Ernst & Young’s Strategy Consulting Group, Chief of Staff Development Director of Gateway with over 12,000 staff , where he led a major change program, the founder CEO of Tomorrow’s Company Enterprises Limited, responsible for developing an innovative strategy and taking a new philosophy into business; and CEO and Chairman of green energy technology start-ups, Associate Professor of Leadership at Nyenrode, Director at London Business School’s CMD, Visiting professor of leadership at INSEAD, IMD and Honorary Fellow at University of Exeter’s Centre for Leadership Studies in the UK.
As an author, his various publications include: “Complex Adaptive Leadership – Embracing Paradox and Uncertainty”, “Practical Business Re-engineering – Tools and Techniques for Achieving Effective Change”; “Chaos, Leadership and Polyarchy”.
